To Whom It May Concern,
So it has been a really sad weekend for me. I had to make an extremely difficult decision and end my relationship with Ms. Interdisciplinary. It had to be done because we were just not meant to be together. I hope her the very best and that she finds someone that will treat her with the love she deserves...
I have decided to jump ship at the very last minute before the IRB proposal is due (hopefully this doesn't bite me in the butt...). I've been flirting with the topic of decodable texts vs. predictable texts for the past few days (I hope you don't judge me for moving on so quickly). Also, I was thinking of somehow connecting that topic to the "Word Caller" phenomenon. I've found plenty of research on the matter and am currently rifling through them to get a better understanding, but the pressure is mounting...FAST! I'm just hoping at this stage that I will be able to get enough to finish the IRB proposal.
I see a future with this new interest. I just hope the feeling is mutual.
Living to love another day,
Tim
Looooooool Tim!!! I'm relieved you didn't say it's not you it's me :))
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, I think it's a positive thing to move on even if you feel that you abandoned ship a little late but it's best that you have this decision now instead of next semester. Look back at your experience with Ms. Interdisciplinary and learn from it and hopefully this new topic will be THE ONE. Best of luck.
That's great, Tim! If your experience turns out as promising as it sounds, then you know you made the right choice. The biggest step is letting go! I have problems with that too--I'm a "Make it work" kind of person (with schoolwork, at least! ha)
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to ramp it up in a pinch, but you know--a work of love is never a chore. :) Teaching 101, right? :p
Vayas con Dios!
