Connecting Themes

The lesson about headings in class was very helpful in forming my lit review.  After the lesson on themes, I had an idea about what themes my paper would consist of, however, I had not thought about how I would connect the themes and sub-headings to each other.  I felt that putting the themes in hierarchical order as well as explicitly thinking about connections between them made organizing my lit review much easier.  Also, thinking about subheadings for each theme put into perspective the kinds of things I will want to pull out of the articles included in my lit review.  With several other assignments coming to a close for the semester, I feel I will be able to dedicate much more time and energy into the lit review and the lesson today really solidified for me how I will be organizing the paper.
