I LOVE the sun!
The only things I seem to be interested in these days are swimming, bathing the sidewalk in chalk, swimming, singing at the top of my lungs, swimming, making popcorn on the stove, swimming, laying out in the sun &, of course, swimming.
But there is a problem. I can swim underwater, but my computer can't. I can lay in the sun all day, but my computer can't. I can even do 100 cartwheels on the front lawn in a row while holding my breath, but my computer can barley even handle being on the front lawn (I think she might be afraid of lady bugs).
Don't worry I've been thinking up some pretty spectacular solutions. Maybe I could get her a water proof case; that way I could have an underwater tea party and still get some writing done. Maybe I could bring a notebook and a pen outside; that way I can lay out in the sun and still be able to see what I am writing. And maybe I can get all my cartwheeling done during the day, so that I can feverishly write at night. The possibilities are really endless.
Needless to say, I am excited for our end of the year-summer is here-let's drink some beer SWIMMING party!
(It feels good to spend a couple minutes writing something that is not going to be turned in; something that is just for me and my enjoyment. Something that I hope, at the very least, gives you all a smile.)
I love this, Danielle :) You definitely made me smile. I love swimming too and I have not gotten to do it for enjoyment since we've started summer school. And I love underwater tea parties; they are the best.

ReplyDeleteIt did Danielle, it made me smile. I miss a lot of things too. I miss being stress free. I miss going out with my kids. I miss traveling to Egypt. My only consolation is that we have two more weeks left. Hang in there kiddo :)
