I am interested learning more about parent-teacher relationships specifically when parents are volunteering regularly in the classroom or at the school site. How do both adults negotiate the situation in order to get their emotional needs met? How are strong, cooperative bonds formed?
Oh wow! This topic is of personal interest to me as a mom who volunteers at my kids' schools. I'm interested in hearing a bit more about the construct of "emotional needs," and what it means to have said needs met.
